Clad-Over Tiled and Insulated Roof
Ideal Roofs Ltd
This is by far the most common choice, over a structural roof, by homeowners seeking to replace the inefficient or damaged roof on an existing conservatory with a tiled and insulated roof option. Externally, once completed there is little visual difference between a structural roof and a clad over roof, however longevity is a major factor for clients willing and needing or wanting a more structural option.
Due to the requirement of having a pitch angle of a minimum 12 degrees to allow for the dispersal of rainfall and debris sometimes a Clad-Over option is not possible, particularly for bungalows and single storey structure or where windows can restrict roof height. In addition, for those client’s wo want to retain their existing glass or polycarbonate roof we are able to supply and internal insulation service which will provide a lower cost option or an alternative finish should the roof needed to be insulated be a recent acquisition.
